Path alignments proposed in the East Boston Master Plan (2000) were refined in the Orient Heights Square and Suffolk Downs Square vision concepts. The vision incorporates the preferred Winthrop Greenway alignment along the Orient Heights Station parking lot as well as safety and greenway improvements to Bennington Street.\n\nThe MBTA’s Bus Network Redesign proposes Winthrop bound bus routes to extend into East Boston and Revere.
